My beautiful and amazing friends, we have reached the end of part of our journey together. This will be the last post of Borrow Season 2014. Can you believe that? 40 days ago I made a commitment to change my life for the better and I could not be happier with the results. I want to thank you from the bottom of my little heart for everything that all of you have done. If you are reading this and you don't even know me, a huge thank you for taking the time to do so. I hope you enjoyed it! If you know me and read this or came on a Borrow Season adventure, please know you hold a special piece of me and I couldn't have made it this far without you.
I will continue to write on the blog, but it will not be everyday and honestly I am not even sure how often. I couldn't think of a good time frame last night, I couldn't really figure out how to not do this everyday. Its not only a habit, but one of my favorite parts of my day. I do know that I will be "gone" until at least Monday. Hopefully the weekend will give me some time to think and make a better decision. I have learned so much about myself in writing this blog in this short period. I have learned that I love people, love being happy and I love having something to look forward to. I learned that this life is mine to live (Mi vida es vida!) and that it is my job to live it to the fullest. I will not live a full and passionate life if I try to live through others or I allow others to live their lives through me. I have learned the true value of my words, my wants and some of my relationships. Along the way I lost some people, downgraded some people's roles in my life, gained some friends, learned how to laugh at bullshit that would have sent me reeling a month ago and learned to LOVE LIFE!
It has been a blessing and I hope that you have enjoyed the ride. My hope for you is that you saw some of me in yourself. That some part of this blog spoke to some part of you and you were able to hear it. That you were able to take some baby steps and make some small changes for yourself. I hope you are in a better space than you were when we started this journey together, too! If I had to sum up what has happened to me during Borrow Season my words would fail me, so I am going to paraphrase the words of Matthew Quick. He is the author of "The Good Luck of Right Now" and "The Silver Linings Playbook"
" I am no more beatiful than I was, but I feel as though I am a fist opening, a flower blooming, a match ignited, a beautiful mane of hair loosened from a bun-that so many things previously impossible are now possible"
Thank you for your time, your interest and your love! I'm sending it back to you a hundredfold. Check you on Monday. #BorrowSeason2014 #WeMadeIt #GotMyButterflyWings
